About Kikeru

The name

Kikeru (聞ける) is Japanese for "can listen" or "able to hear." We chose it because that's exactly what we help you do — understand what people are actually saying around you.

The problem

You studied English for years. You passed the test. You moved to Australia.

Then someone said "yeah nah" and you had no idea what was happening.

Textbooks don't prepare you for real Australian accents, slang, or the speed people actually talk at. Most ESL learners arrive confident in their English — then struggle to follow everyday conversations. It's frustrating, and it's isolating.

Kikeru is a listening app built specifically for Australian English. It gives you:
